Cirio Swedish legal advisor to Gearbox in its merger with Embracer

Cirio acted as Swedish legal counsel to Gearbox Entertainment Company, Inc. (“Gearbox”) in its merger agreement with Embracer Group AB (“Embracer”), under which Gearbox will become a seventh operating group as a wholly owned subsidiary of Embracer.

Gearbox is a game developing studio and maker of the Borderlands franchise.

Cirio’s team consisted mainly of Carl-Olof Bouveng, Maria Arnoldsson and Jessika Lagebro.
