Cirio advises Downing LLP in an acquisition of eight hydropower plants located in the rivers Norsälven, Dalälven and Svågan

Cirio advises Downing LLP in an acquisition of eight hydropower plants from Fortum Sverige AB. The hydropower plants are located in Norsälven, Dalälven and Svågan in middle and southern Sweden with an average annual production of c. 108.5 GWh and a combined capacity of 25.6 MW. The purchase price for the assets is €64.5 million on a debt and cash free basis and the transaction is expected to complete in February 2021.
