Niklas Junker is a member of Cirio’s M&A team and specialises in complex transactions, corporate governance and contract law. He has extensive experience of acquisitions, investments, and divestments, with a particular focus on company law and commercial contracts. Niklas provides strategic advice on transactions and operational matters and works on drafting and negotiating shareholders’ agreements, incentive schemes, investment agreements, and other key corporate documents.
Niklas regularly represents Swedish and international companies, shareholders, founders, and start-ups and growth companies in investment rounds, exits, and corporate law matters. His advice also covers operational and contractual aspects that are crucial to the companies’ long-term structure and governance.
Previously, Niklas worked as a general counsel and founded and ran several companies in the HORECA and wellness sectors, which gives him a practical entrepreneurial perspective on legal issues. Since qualifying as a lawyer in 2015, he has been active as a founder and advisor on the corporate side, and since 2021 he has been providing specialist legal services in company law and M&A at Cirio Law Firm.
