Cirio advises Downing Hydro AB on the acquisition of seven hydropower plants

Cirio has acted for Downing Hydro AB when acquiring a 14 GWh run-of-river hydropower portfolio of seven assets with significant reservoir capacity in Sweden. Six of the sites are located in SE3, and one site in SE2. This acquisition takes Downing Hydro AB’s hydropower portfolio to 26 plants. The total investment amount for the acquisition of the portfolio is approximately GBP 6 million.

Cirio’s team consisted of Jörgen Möller, Emma Dansbo, Fredrik Morfeldt, Maria Hanbo, Zacharias Thyrén, Niklas Junker and Elisabet Heimer.
