Cirio strengthens its Energy and Infrastructure practice with three new senior associates

Cirio has a strong offering for the energy sector. Cirio’s decision in 2019 to focus and continue building a practice with renewable energy as a core area has been applauded by clients and resulted in a consistent influx of large and high-profile assignments in recent years.

As a result of this demand for specifically energy-related legal services, Cirio has recruited three new lawyers, namely Joanna Landau, Elisabet Heimer, and Liselotte Rios.

“Hiring three experienced energy lawyers as Elisabet, Joanna and Liselotte, is a strategic move as we look to continue Cirio’s growth in one of our core areas. Having lawyers devoting all their time to the energy sector will be key to the delivery of our ambitious plans for the future and even more so with the new situation in Europe”, said Jörgen Möller, Head of Cirio’s Energy group.

Joanna who most recently worked as commercial legal advisor, has worked for close to fifteen years in private practice. She has extensive experience from energy and infrastructure projects and at Cirio she will be focusing on complex contracting and regulatory matters.

Elisabet joins from another law firm and has worked throughout her career with energy and infrastructure transactions. At Cirio, she will continue working with M&A, corporate law and contracts.

Liselotte who also joins from another law firm comes with solid experience from contract law, renewable energy transactions and energy financing. At Cirio, she will continue working in the same fields.
