Cirio advises ENERCON in divestment of 253 MW wind farm

Cirio’s energy team, which is at the forefront of its sector and leading within renewable energy, has advised ENERCON in the sale of a majority stake in a 253 MW wind farm in the Markbygden II cluster in Northern Sweden. The wind farm will consist of 63 E-138 E3 turbines which are due to be installed by the end of 2021.

Credit Suisse Energy Infrastructure Partners will invest EUR 200m and acquire up to an 85% stake in the wind farm. ENERCON will retain a minority stake and act as a turnkey supplier under an EPC contract. They will also be responsible for commercial and technical management and provide service.

Cirio’s team consisted of partners Jörgen Möller and Anders Moberg, together with associates Fredrik Morfeldt, Maria Hanbo, Philip Tonkin, Sofia Johansson, Joakim Blecher, Anton Zetterberg, Alexander Engström and Jesper Sala.
