Cirio advises Enercon for both the sale and the construction financing of wind farm project in Northern Sweden

Cirio has acted for Enercon for both the sale and the construction financing (EUR 118m innovative bride to sale financing) of a 134.4MW wind farm project in the Markbygden area outside Piteå, Northern Sweden. The project is under construction and scheduled to be fully commissioned in 2024. The purchaser is Greencoat Renewables Plc, who also purchased a 101.1MW neighboring wind farm from Enercon back in 2021.

Cirio’s team consisted of Jörgen Möller, Jesper Johansson, Fredrik Morfeldt, Maria Hanbo, Erik Engström, Liselotte Rios, Elisabet Heimer, Joakim Blecher, Zacharias Thyrén and Tilda Nilsson.
