Re:NewCell AB,556885-6206, (“Re:Newcell“) was declared bankrupt on February 26, 2024. Attorney Lars-Henrik Andersson at Cirio was appointed as the official receiver.

Re:NewCell operates in textile recycling and pulp production. The company’s patented technology is used to break down the cellulose in cotton and viscose textiles, enabling the recycling of garments into new textile raw materials. The production is carried out at the company’s own facilities in Sundsvall and Kristinehamn, processing textiles for recycling that would otherwise end up in landfills or incineration. The largest operations are found in the Nordic market.
