Cirio advised Coöperatieve Rabobank U.A. on the project financing of Nylandsbergen wind farm

Cirio has advised Coöperatieve Rabobank U.A. on the project financing of Nylandsbergen wind farm in Timrå, Sweden.

The Nylandbergen windfarm will consist of 18 Vestas V136 3.8MW turbines. The project has been developed and constructed by Eolus Vind and was sold post-completion to Aquila Capital. Swiss utility Axpo has entered into a long-term power purchase agreement for the purchase and delivery of electricity produced by the project.

The team from Cirio that advised Rabobank in the transaction consisted of partners Jesper Johansson (financing) and Jörgen Möller (energy) together with associates Niklas Sinander (financing), Alexandra Linusson (financing), Tilda Nilsson (financing), Julia Sandström (financing), Maria Hanbo (energy and development) and Fredrik Morfeldt (energy and development). Cirio was in the transaction acting together with Clifford Chance, that advised on German, Dutch and English law matters.
