Carl Axel regularly acts for banks, sponsors and companies in complex financial transactions that focus on cross-border renewable energy and infrastructure projects, bond issuances, leveraged buyouts and acquisitions. Carl-Axel’s experience in equity capital markets and M&A assignments bridges the divide between equity and debt transactions. Carl-Axel advises Swedish and international clients on buy-and-build growth strategies, venture capital transactions, and investments.
He has substantial experience of Swedish and international high-yield and investment-grade bond issues regularly acting for issuers, both PE-backed and listed companies, as well as arrangers.
Carl Axel leads Cirio’s shipping team which offers full service legal advice on all aspects of shipping including M&A, financing, new builds, chartering, insurance, registration and flagging, and disputes, with a particular focus on dry shipping assignments.
