Cirio has advised Västerkulla Hotell on the acquisition of two hotel properties from Pandox

Cirio has advised Västerkulla Hotell on the acquisition of two hotel properties in Halmstad and Kalmar from Pandox. The properties have Scandic as their largest and sole tenant, respectively, and comprise a total of 320 hotel rooms.

The Halmstad property is centrally located along the River Nissan, adjacent to the transport hub, and houses Scandic Hallandia. It comprises approximately 7,300 square metres, including 170 hotel rooms, wellness facilities, conference space, a restaurant and a bar. The Kalmar property houses Scandic Kalmar Väst and is located next to the E22 motorway, approximately three kilometres from the city centre. The hotel has 150 rooms, wellness facilities with a swimming pool, padel courts, a restaurant and a bar.

Västerkulla Hotell invests in hotel properties in medium-sized Swedish cities. The group owns 18 hotel properties with approximately 1,900 rooms and a total area of 87,000 square metres. Its shareholders include LO, PRI and Östersjöstiftelsen.
