Cirio advises Fastighetsaktiebolaget Folkets Hus i Stockholm in connection with major lease agreements
Cirio has advised Fastighetsaktiebolaget Folkets Hus i Stockholm in the development of the area around Norra Bantorget. In April, the client signed a 25-year lease agreement with Stockholm International School and during the summer a 15-year lease was signed with Scandic Hotels. Cirio advised the landlord in both these lease processes, which led to two of the largest lease agreements signed in Stockholm this year.
The new school, located in the famous Norra Latin building, will cover 9,200 square meters and the building will thus no longer be used as a conference centre. The school aims to open during the autumn semester of 2023.
The Scandic hotel lease which Cirio assisted the landlord on during the spring and the summer is for the current hotel which will be be subject to a complete renovation and approximately 25 new rooms will be created during the two coming years. The plan is that the hotel will reopen the autumn of 2024.
