Cirio strengthens life science practice

Cirio announces that Odd Swarting has been recruited as Senior Counsel. The hire strengthens the firm’s client offerings in pharmaceutical regulatory matters and achieves a milestone in Cirio’s strategy to establish itself as Sweden’s leading firm within the biological/life science areas.

Odd Swarting has over 25 years’ experience as a legal counsel and has on many occasions been ranked as one of Sweden’s leading legal experts. As part of his broad experience within health care and life science he has obtained a deep knowledge of regulatory issues, commercial contracts and transactions.

Prior to joining Cirio, Odd was partner at Calissendorff Swarting. He has also been partner at Setterwalls and at Lindahl’s Stockholm office. In addition, Odd serves as a member on a number of boards and commissions and has written several legal articles.

Odd Swarting begins at Cirio effective February 1.
